i have a friend who is a mermaid.
seriously.
she has two mermaid fins... and she actually goes to the beach [in california] wearing her fake fins and has photoshoots... i'm not quite sure how she gets all the way across the beach in her mermaid fins... maybe she hops across the sand?
and she obviously can't drive in her fins, as her legs would be severely constricted...but somehow she does.
she always swims in her pool with the fins on... and i'm afraid she'll drown one day.
a mermaid costume doesn't seem very movement friendly to me.
[this is a true story!]
p.s. The Little Mermaid was my absolute favourite movie when i was three years old.
