So we were eating dinner tonight, and I was talking about my neurotic issues with my food touching, or how I don't "dip" things (chips, bread etc.) and my grandma says. . .
"You know Uncle Dennis (that is my great uncle) used to take all his food, mix it all up in a bowl and eat it, and sometimes it was too hot so he poured milk over it."
Ahhhhhhh. I used to think that maybe Uncle Dennis and I were kindred spirits with our neuroticness .
Apparently not.
EDIT: I guess this was not done in a bowl. . . but his dinner plate. At the dinner table.

aw... i love that picture. uncle dennis kinda has the "morgan eyes"...... the sandberg eye genes have no chance in my family.
So no chips and salsa? guacamole? How about strawberries into chocolate fondue? What about pre-dipped items like chocolate covered (dipped) frozen bananas? Or caramel coated apples?
I find this fascinating...especially your uncle. I really think he was on to something...just imagine the efficiency that brought to meal time. I may give that a try someday!
No chips and salsa, sometimes guac. . . dessert dips I'm fine with.
No bread with spreads, no sauce on fish. . . etc. . .
